The business was first established in 1977 under the name of Sydney Dental Restorations and later as Australian Dental Lab. ADL went on to establish itself as one of the leading dental laboratories in Australia.

Our Story

Australian Dental Lab (ADL), has been servicing dentists across Australia since 1977. And over more than 40 years, it established itself as one of the leading dental laboratories in Australia.

And, more recently, with the digital transformation undergoing the dental industry, ADL took the opportunity and started 2020 with a rebrand.

ADL became Avant Dental Leaders.

Only the highest quality and internationally recognised materials are used in production and we only use FDA approved, or CE marked materials in production. We specialise in crown and bridge implants and removable prosthetic restorations. And it’s our stringent Quality Control procedures that ensure dentists receive only the best quality products and service.

We manufacture in the best facilities around the world, including right here in our technologically advanced lab at Northbridge. We have partnered with one of the most technologically advanced dental labs in Shenzhen China, which provides us with the very best materials and dental products. Our Chinese partner laboratory is a producer of custom made dental prostheses and devices, and manufactures under ISO 13485 Medical Devices Quality Management System. This ensures that the design, manufacture and delivery of all our medical devices are safe for their intended purpose.

The Quality assurance team is trained by our senior technicians and leading European Master Dental technicians. All heads of departments are university educated.

This global reach combined with local expertise and Quality Control, allows us to deliver the right balance of flexibility, pricing, turnaround-times and quality.
