Ian Feigen qualified as a Dental Technician in 1981, and spent time overseas learning advanced techniques before being made Lab Manager and Lead Technician on his return to Australia. Under the guidance of leading dental scientist, surgeon and implant pioneer Dr Olbert Rogers OAM, they developed new techniques with implants and ceramics that shaped the industry and are still relevant today. Ian operated his own lab for the next 25 years, before joining the Avant Dental team in 2014.
Dr Hitesh Gupta is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles. Graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004, he has pursued extensive training in cosmetic dentistry through the Australian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetic (AADFA) and maintains active membership in the Australian Dental Association. Outside dentistry, he loves diving, cricket, AFL, and spending family time with his wife and their daughter.
Dr Cameron White focuses on advanced oral surgery, including implants, wisdom teeth removal, and bone grafting procedures. Born and raised in Newcastle, he earned his dental qualifications from Griffith University in 2010. Dr White completed the Brener Implant Institute Master Clinician’s programme and regularly trains internationally, including through the American Academy of Implantology. Outside the practice, he enjoys family life in Newcastle with his wife and their two sons.
As Founder and Director of the Institute of Digital Dentistry (iDD) in New Zealand, Dr Al-Hassiny has spearheaded a transformative era in dental healthcare. He leads iDD in harnessing the power of digital technologies to elevate patient care, empower dental professionals worldwide, and shape the future of dentistry. He graduated from the University of Otago with First Class Honours, and has carried out many aspects of complex digital dentistry, including CAD/CAM full-mouth rehabilitation and smile design.
