Ian Feigen is Technical Services Director at Avant Dental. He qualified as a Dental Technician in 1981, and spent time overseas learning advanced techniques before being made Lab Manager and Lead Technician on his return to Australia. Under the guidance of leading dental scientist, surgeon and implant pioneer Dr Olbert Rogers OAM, they developed new techniques with implants and ceramics that shaped the industry and are still relevant today. Ian operated his own lab for the next 25 years, before joining the Avant Dental team in 2014.
Dr Maria Avis is a graduate of the University of Sydney and the prestigious Brener Implant Institute. In 2016, Dr Avis was awarded a Fellowship and a Master of Implantology by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is also a member of the Australasian Osseointegration Society, Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Australian Society of Endodontics.
Dr Sean Parsonage graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours and holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, a Bachelor of Dental Science, and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants). He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle and the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dental Studies, and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Since 2019, Dr James Tran has completed more than 200 hours of CPD a year in all areas of dentistry including digital smile design, orthodontics, and implants. James enjoys working with digital workflows including CEREC, clear aligners, and aesthetic dentistry. He is a member of the International Association for Orthodontics and a fellow of the ICOI. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry and Computer Science. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the International Association for Orthodontics.
